Oh, hey, hi. Hi

I’m Markus Pattern a cat who draws. I’m a digital comic book artist, with an anime inspired pop art style. I am self taught, and I am always learning.  

I’m currently the artist for The Kindness of Killers, published by Markosia, written by Cy Dethan, and Lettered by Nic Wilkinson. Amazon or Markosia

I’m also publishing by own series, Here Comes the Dragon Punch, which you can read on this very site.

I livestream over on the old Youtube, and the new nifty Twitch Mondays through to Thursday.

I’ve self published my own murder mystery series called 13 Shots of Whiskey, the first two issues, are out now. You can find my work in the pages of WIP’s Tall Tales, Containment Breach, Volume 3, Not So Fair Tales anthology, the webcomic The Hell It’s My Turn,  and the horror one shot, the Gateway.

 I’ve been a fan of all things comics, and anime since I was 11, but after watching Dragon Ball Z, I was inspired to try drawing them. And then I discovered the bass. After a decade of being a musician, I returned to my first love and started making comics again. When the pandemic hit, and I was working from home, I took the plunge and started making comics full time.

 I use an XP-Pen 22nd Generation graphics tablet and I work with Clip Studio Paint EX.

I use OBS to livestream with, and have Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio playing while I’m drawing and TheRelaxedMovement. Playing while I’m ramble chatting.

I am powered by Douwe Egbert coffee.

Before I shuffle off this mortal, I will draw a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic.
